My academic and professional endeavors are characterized by a rigorous commitment to both research and teaching, paralleled by a strong dedication to community enhancement and the amplification of diverse perspectives. My pathway is further distinguished by my active participation in service-oriented initiatives, where I apply my technical skills and analytical thinking to foster meaningful and lasting impact. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of undertaking several key roles, each contributing uniquely to my objective of integrating technological innovation with community development.


Graduate and Professional Government

GPSG

At Texas A&M University's Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG), our mission is to advocate for the interests of graduate and professional students. We work in collaboration with university leadership to develop policies that accurately reflect student needs, with a particular focus on academic standards, tuition finances, and research opportunities. Our aim is to ensure that student perspectives are a pivotal element in the university's decision-making process.

My involvement in GPSG includes:

  1. As Speaker & Executive VP (2022-23), my responsibilities included substituting for the Student Body President, leading Senate meetings, adhering to constitutional guidelines, overseeing election processes, conducting informational sessions for graduate students, fostering efficient governance, and ensuring organizational continuity.
  2. In my role as VP of Information (2020-22), I was responsible for minute-taking, attendance tracking, managing the GPSG roster, ensuring the accessibility of documents, maintaining organizational records, supervising communications, leading the Community Committee, and ensuring a seamless transfer of knowledge to succeeding VPs.
  3. As a Senator for Civil and Environmental Engineering (2019-20), I represented my department in the Senate, ensured consistent attendance, solicited student feedback during bi-weekly office hours, and relayed these insights during Senate sessions.

Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Student Association

GPSG

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Association (CEEGSA) at Texas A&M University is committed to fostering improved communication and collaboration within the department. Our primary focus is on strengthening student-faculty relationships, aiming to enhance the overall graduate experience, especially in the realms of research and learning. We strive to guide students toward diverse career opportunities in civil and environmental engineering after graduation.

My contributions to CEEGSA include:

  1. As President (2022-23), I was responsible for organizing and announcing meetings, events, and activities, as well as working closely with departmental leaders on crucial decisions. My role included managing amendments, budgeting, and communications. I appointed the Vice-President, oversaw election processes, and represented the association at inter-departmental meetings, ensuring our activities aligned with strategic objectives.
  2. In my role as VP (2020-22), I was prepared to step into the Presidential role when necessary, provided counsel to the President, and participated in department leadership meetings as required. My responsibilities included coordinating meetings and events throughout the VPial term.
  3. As an Officer and Founding Member (2019-20), I played a key role in maintaining communication with students and advisors, actively participated in committee meetings to represent student interests, and was involved in decision-making processes. Additionally, I assisted in organizing events and activities and supported the President and VP in directing our team's efforts.

In addition to the fulfilling the responsibilities of these roles, I had also championed these efforts: Informational webinars for incoming students, Welcome Socials and Game Nights, Technical Webinars, Industry Seminars, Career Webinars, Career Webinars, and Technical Workshops
